When Pamplona erupts,
everything begins.

On 6 July, at noon sharp, Pamplona opens San Fermín with the Chupinazo rocket launch from City Hall Square. Scarves fill the air, the crowd cries “Long live San Fermín!” in Spanish and Basque, and a collective energy brings the beginning of the festival together in a few short minutes.

From a balcony, you can watch the square, the rocket and the movement of the crowd from an elevated viewpoint. It is a way to follow the moment with more context and take time to enjoy the atmosphere beforehand too.
