Pobre de mí closes the San Fermín festivities every 14 July in Pamplona’s City Hall Square. At this farewell ceremony, the city gathers to sing, hold candles and look forward to meeting again the following year.

In contrast to the Chupinazo, when scarves are tied around the neck, on this night everyone unties them together. The crowded square, the City Hall façade, the music and the shared songs create a quieter, particularly moving moment.
